I got a pikachu amiibo for Christmas this year, and if you've seen earlier posts, you'd see I already have a pikachu amiibo with an Ash Ketchum Hat I made (named Cinerus, fun facts). Well since I was given a new pikachu, might as well try something new! I took on evolving my Pikachu into a Raichu!
This was a scary custom, because to make this, I had to destroy the pikachu amiibo. Cut of its ears, tail, and sand it down! So beware this is my first custom where I cut off parts and replaced them! I crafted the ear and tail out of polymer clay, painted them, painted the amiibo, and then glued the new parts on. I must say, it is quite nice. I was always a bigger Raichu fan then a Pikachu fan, anyway.
If you want yourself a Raichu, expect to pay about $55. This is not an easy custom by any means. I have to hand craft the ears, tail, and repaint the amiibos face from scratch. It's challenging, but this is a popular custom, and if you want one, bring your thunderstones!

Seriously, look how depressing this it! I had to do that to a poor Pikachu. No going back after cutting off the ears and tail!
